We have had a lot of weddings celebrated at Middleton Park House, some large spectacular events and some smaller more intimate events, but no matter the size of the couples special day it is without a doubt a place where you can just feel the love that has been given and the happiness that has been shared in it over the years.
I know a lot of couples that have searched high and low for their “perfect” venue and as soon as they walk in to Middleton Park House, that feeling they feel of love and joy just tells them straight away, this place is the one!

“We got married in Middleton Park House in May this year and it was such a fantastic day, a really terrific venue.
We’d already viewed five other country house type places in Leinster and found this one almost by accident but just loved it from the start, it has a real authentic old style charm – the entrance has a bit of a wow factor, the dining room is really elegant and the conservatory adds to the charm of the place.
We found Ger and the staff really easy to deal with, very accommodating to any of our requests. Food was top class, the canapés, the main meal and for some reason the evening buffet is what everyone remembers most and still talk about!
We loved that guests could suit themselves, the oldies could drink tea and chat in peace in the drawing rooms, the drinkers could prop up the bar and the rest of us could dance away in the main hall – it worked really well. We’d recommended this place to anyone who wants something a little different and somewhere you can really make your own for the day.”

“Just wanted to say thank you so much for everything you did for us on our wedding day in November. We wanted you to know that we thoroughly enjoyed the day and there was nothing that we could have faulted between the food, the service, the staff and the house itself.
All of our guests told us afterwards that it was the best wedding they had been at because it was a beautiful location; the layout meant everyone, including the older guests, was comfortable and the food was incredible! Everyone who stayed was comfortable in their rooms and the whole package you offered was worth every penny and we feel like we got great value for money which is so unusual in the current climate!
I would like to give a special mention to your chef because my father was the only vegetarian (I think) at the wedding and he is so used to getting unimaginative bland food but he was really delighted to get a delicious dinner that he thoroughly enjoyed. It really shows the ability of a chef when they can cook a good vegetarian dish. And the wines were amazing.

I got married on July 3rd and would just like to leave feedback for anyone taking a look at this fabulous venue.
It was the best day of my life and all my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to and I do think that this is all down to the venue.
The food was out of this world! The staff are so efficient and professional, nothing was too much trouble, there was a lovely air of calm and everything went so smoothly.
On arrival to the venue and to be honest we had got delayed with photos as we were running in and out of the rain,so we were behind scheldule big time, but Jeremy the manager had it all under control, our guests had been well looked after with amazing canapes, and were all enjoying viewing the venue that I don’t think that they noticed our late arrival.
Dinner was amazing, the choice of menu that you will get to pick from is divine. We had the mushroom ravioli in a rosemary sauce for starter and everyone was raving about it, some people commented that they were won over by that as it was not your standard soup or melon starter , and that it was very unusual. The fillet of beef for mains could have been cut with a butter knife it was so tender, and the fish choice of salmon was so tasty. Service was excellent and everyone was catered form e.g we had some vegetarians and ceoliacs, dessert was passion fruit cheesecake which was so fresh and zingy, just right for cleansing the palate after such a feast.
After dinner you go out into the main hall and the dance floor has been set up in front of the stairs, to be honest this was one of my big worries as I wondered how this would work as the bars are in different rooms, but it worked out perfectly as the older guests were able to go into the other rooms and were not stuck in front of the music which they can at times find very noisy. My worry was would the dance floor be empty as bars been away from it but this wasn’t the case.
We also walked down the amazing staircase to our first dance which gave it a bit of a different slant and made it feel so special. For those of you that have seen the venue and know about the stairs, you will be able to visualize the throwing of the bouquet, the photographer suggested I go up the stairs and throw bouquet over the balcony and all the girlies were down underneath on dance floor, just remember to hold onto the hand rail! I nearly went over with bouquet!
The food served after the band was a cheeseboard of many of types of cheese, chicken wings, cocktail sausages and chips which are served in paper cones, so easy to walk around with, and as usual delicious!
As there was no wedding the next day we held a bbq there for our close family and friends, and again it was amazing, the chefs here are amazing, and have such a unique twist on traditional food that it make it the talking point.
I know this is very long but all this comes down to the amazing staff at Middleton. Everyone is amazing and has the whole wedding business down to a fine art, they are a great help, and full of great tips and suggestions. We had only given ourselves 6 months to organize our wedding and it would definitely not have been such a success without all the help and professionalism of all the staff at Middleton and of course the wonderful house itself.
Obviously I cannot recommend this venue enough, it would be worth the trip to look at it and see if you get the same butterflies in your belly as I did on the first day I called up. You are guaranteed to be made feel like a princess, I wish I could do it all again and if did I wouldn’t change a thing.

We got married on July 2nd 2010 and it was a truly amazing day thanks to Ger Lynam and his wonderful team.
Nothing was too much trouble and every detail was tended to.
We had our civil ceremony there too and it was a beautiful setting. The champagne reception was held in the magnificent conservatory while a stringed quartet played and we felt like royalty for the day.
The food however is what Middleton Park House is renowned for, absolutely exquisite delicious fine food…. I recommend anyone looking for that extra special venue for their wedding day to definitely check out this gem. We will treasure our memories of the day.
