Directions Via Athlone/Galway

Take the N6, (merging to M6) to the Kilbeggan/Tullamore (N52) exit (Exit number 5). Turn left at the roundabout, passing a Centra/Topax on your left.
At the following roundabout, turn left to bring you into Kilbeggan.
In the centre of the village there is a Betting Shop on the right, turn right here.
Continue up this road, passing the Kilbeggan Racecourse. You will also pass a quarry works on the left.
There is a fork (junction) on the road (shortly after the quarry works), take the left fork, which is signed for Middleton Park House and Castletown. R389.
Go about 4 miles. There is a black and white Tudor Style Gate lodge and stone railings on the right, which is the entrance to Middleton Park House. Go through the gates and follow the road for 1km through the forest. Please drive slowly up the drive. Do not go into the Gate lodge or Racing Stables, or Farm Yard. Middleton Park House is at the top of the hill.
If you see the “Welcome to Castletown Geoghegan” sign, then you have gone too far. Turn back for ½ mile and take second gate left, as above.
